I drank coffee, read, watched TV, worked on a couple computers, and went to bed.

Eh, no parties or anything. Just read some more of Mogworld and relaxed.

I spent the day at my uncle&aunt's.

I actually went to ONE New Years Eve party...about 30 years ago. The norm is sitting at home, alone, and usually asleep before midnight.

What fireworks? We don't do that here (except maybe in the big cities).

We have them pretty much everywhere.

I have never personally seen nor can I remember ever hearing about New Years fireworks in all my many years, but I after I posted, this was covered on the radio:
